Invincible: Incapable of being conquered
I picked this title out of respect for Rob Kirkman and Cory Walker's Invincible comic book from Image comics. The character of Markus Sebastian Grayson a.k.a. Invincible as a second generation Superhero/teenager/Semi-extra terrestrial presents a breath of fresh air after years of Marvel and DC Characters. Don't get me wrong, I'm all up for Wade Wilson, Frank Castle, Barry Allen, Bruce Wayne, but we grew up with these characters. As someone who has recently physically reached adulthood, reading Invincible takes me back to discovering Bruce Wayne all over again, discovering Dick Grayson, Clark Kent, Scott Summers and Bobby Drake. Reading it was a remix of an old song I loved.
